Randolph A. Celebrini painting live on National TV at the Art Showcase Auction in Los Angeles, California June 2007Randolph A. Celebrini was recently invited to paint LIVE on the Art Showcase Auction in Los Angeles, California that broadcasts across the United States and Canada. Celebrini’s performance was the first time this has been attempted in this manner. Starting with a blank canvas the artist painted directly from life in his unique approach - and in 8 hours, completed a 40" x 60" oil on canvas, capturing the essence of the models before the eyes of the viewing public. Alongside, the hosts of the show were auctioning off Chagalls, Dalis, Picassos, Neimans and Renoirs whilst the nation waited all night for Celebrini's piece to be finished so they could put in their bids. | |||||||||
